Nomination of Officers:

Nomination of candidates to each of the elective offices can be done on the nominations page.
Nominations will be accepted from 25 May 2020 to 23 July 2020.
Only eligible members of the association may be nominated. Please refer to the constitution for eligibility criteria.
All eligible members may submit nominations for themselves or other members.
It is requested that nominations be submitted early to afford the nominees sufficient time to put forward a strong campaign.
Only nominated individuals will be included on the voting forms.

Candidates for each electoral post are encouraged to submit manifestos for the offices they seek, by email, to elections@oaumed.org.
Manifestos will be accepted from 1 June 2020 to 24 July 2020. Submissions will be posted online on 25 July 2020, and remain online till the end of the elections.
Candidates are encouraged to be as creative and colorful as they please in their manifestos.
Content can be in any format including videos, pictures, text, etc.
Manifestos will be hosted on the association website for easy viewing and sharing by members.
Contact the Electoral committee if you have any questions or issues regarding the submission of manifesto files.
Campaigning for offices is not allowed on the class chat group.

Casting of votes will be done electronically on the Association website.
The voting form will be available from 25 July 2020 to 31 July 2020.
Each eligible member of the class will be allowed a single vote for each office. Please refer to the constitution for eligibility criteria.
It is encouraged that all members review the manifestos prior to voting so as to help select the most competent candidates for the offices.
The voting system will automatically collate results and this report will be shared with the class on 1 August 2020.

The election of Executive Officers is an important aspect of our Association's activities, and it is hoped that we will all approach this with a balanced mix of seriousness and fun.
Any complaints about the election process or results should be submitted to elections@oaumed.org not later than 8 August 2020.
The Electoral committee will review all complaints in detail and provide formal responses, and appropriate resolutions.
The newly elected Executive Officers will commence their three-year term on 1 September 2020 to run till 31 August 2023.
